NOWHERE MONOCHROME / 2012
Using various film and digital cameras, the images from “Nowhere” encompass stark geometric forms that emerge from the bracing of timber below the beachfront decks. The intersecting diagonals converge creating expressive compositions both visual and subliminal; a motif seen throughout her work. Hedison maps out a subliminal geography at times hidden from view, igniting a debate between seeing and remembering - the dialogue of the unreliable self and an ever-illusive reality.
